Ten Feet Tall is a live music venue and bar that is well known for their cocktails.
However, recently the live music venue upstairs from the bar has been shut in order to become a restaurant and shops instead, according to this BBC article.
“Cardiff Central MP Jo Stevens was among those objecting to the loss of live music, saying the area was already “saturated” with restaurants.”
A statement which I have to fully agree with, since we see a new restaurant opening up every couple of months with the most recent being Taco Bell on St Mary’s Street.
It is said that bars like Gwdihw, 10 Feet Tall and Buffalo were the key members of the gig guide to Cardiff with 10 Feet Tall’s Undertones in the basement.
Due to the recent closure, many of the redesigning staff had resigned according to the BBC in January 2020.
